As our director retires, we are looking for another passionate individual to lead our children’s and family ministries. Might that be you or someone you know?

The Director of Children’s & Family Ministries (DCFM) will serve as the primary leader for the children’s and family ministries at St. Paul’s Church – participating in the overall staff team emphasis of discipleship and disciple-making. The ideal candidate will exhibit a passion for the next generation,  is highly relational and will have the responsibility for supervising the children’s ministry staff and volunteers who lead all children from birth through sixth grade. The qualified candidate will be Christ-centered, engaging, and run a relevant ministry for and with kids and their parents, as well as implement a program that fosters community within the overall Church family. To fill this full time position, this person would need a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 – 5yrs experience in education or leadership in children’s ministry within a culturally relevant church setting. Skills include being able to articulate a solid theology of children’s ministry, effectively teach children in large and small group settings, be creative and motivational, recruit and equip volunteers, and work well with teams.
